The Olympus mju 1050 SW is a new rugged digital camera, able to withstand drop-impact from 5-feet (1.5-meters). water resistant down to 10-feet (3-meters) below, and temps as low as -10 C, which is probably as cold as your freezer. A newly-developed TAP control interface lets users trade the press of a button for the tap of a finger to adjust settings and review images. 1050 SW features 10.1-megapixel shooter with 3x zoom and 2.7-inch display. The Olympus mju 1050 SW will be available in several colors; Dolphin Grey, Pacific Blue, Midnight Black or Misty Rose. It will ship late September for £259.99. [PhotographyBlog]
