What users and reviewers are saying:

“We think the Nikon Coolpix P60 camera will perform similarly to the earlier P50, which is $30 less now. At an original retail price of $229.95, the P60 ups the optical zoom to 5x, and has lens shifting image stabilization.”- Karen Cheung

“Taking on the popular Canon A720 IS with its update to the P50, Nikon’s Coolpix P60 includes some nontrivial enhancements, including optical image stabilization (Vibration Reduction, or VR), an electronic viewfinder (which is unusual in a non-megazoom)”-ZDNet

Our comment:

With a minor price difference with that of its predecessor, the Coolpix P50, the P60 may not offer something drastically new. But if the 5x Nikkor Zoom lens is a huge factor, users might very well go for an upgrade. But for those who are looking for a new point-and-shoot camera under the Nikon performance model, the P60 maybe a good choice.
