Trusted Reviews have reviewed the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 - an update to the FZ18 - it features a 27mm Wide Angle 18x optical zoom lens, optical image stabilisation, 13fps at 3mp, Full Manual Operation, a 10.1 megapixels CCD, ISO1600, and a 2.7″ screen. The FZ28 is available for £255
“TDespite the obvious similarities, all the little changes add up to a camera that feels a significantly more accomplished and assured than its predecessor. It responds quickly, focuses accurately, exposes correctly and produces outstanding results, and is generally a very satisfying camera to use. The FZ28 will suit anyone looking for a super-zoom camera, whether they want the creative power of its extensive manual options, or the reliable simplicity of its advanced automatic features.”

Photography BLOG have reviewed the new Panasonic Lumic DMC-LX3 - the camera features a F2.0 24mm Ultra Wide Angle lens (24 - 60mm), optical image stabilisation, a larger 10 megapixel sensor with higher sensitivity, ISO3200 at Full Resolution, Full Manual Operation, HD Motion Images and HD Output, and a 3.0-inch screen. The Panasonic LX3 is available for £399:
“Speaking of image quality, Panasonic have made some incredibly bold claims about the LX3, which unfortunately are a little off the mark. We found that the new 10 megapixel sensor does deliver better image quality than all other current Panasonic compacts (and much better than the LX2), but only marginally so, despite the physically bigger sensor and pixels. Once again noise is the main problem.”

We’ve just published our review of the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 - the camera features a wide angle 28mm 10x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation, 9 megapixel sensor, and 3.0″ screen. The camera will be available in March in silver, black, and blue. The TZ5 also features Digital Red-eye Correction, and is available for £190
“The camera features an excellent video mode - it records HD (16:9 Aspect Ratio) 1280×720 30fps videos with sound as MOV files and has fairly good compression allowing you to record long videos. The video mode does let you use the optical zoom whilst recording, sound is also recorded even when using the zoom.”
