Fujifilm (pdf) have announced the new Fujifilm Super CCD EXR sensor - a sensor designed to allow the capture of high detail and high dynamic range with a newly developed sensor colour arrangement:

“EXR changes the color filter arrangement. Two side-by-side, same-colored pixels are taken together as a single pixel. With this design, the area of imaging elements is doubled, the sensitivity is twice the normal level, and ‘dark noise’ is extremely small. Therefore it is possible to create a high sensitivity image with little noise, instead of increasing the gain from a single pixel and increasing the noise.”

Fujifilm has announced the launch of the new FinePix F60fd. As a sequel to the hugely popular FinePix F50fd, the FinePix F60fd features a more massive 3 .0 ” LCD screen, Face Detection 3.0 and brand new, proprietary, Scene Recognition technology. F60fd also uses Dual Image Stabilisation combining high ISO and CCD-shift stabilisation for a complete system for avoiding blur caused by hand shake or subject motion. Its Scene Recognition technology cleverly detects a scene without the need of pre-selecting the mode on the camera. Fujifilm has recently announced four new budget Finepix J-series compact cameras. The J100, J110W, J120 and J150W, all will include 10 Megapixel CCD but each vary in LCD size and lenses. They feature face detection system that maxes out at six people in the frame, and includes automatic red-eye correction. Movie mode supports 640 x 480 and 320 x 240 resolutions at 30 frames per second with mono sound, stored in Motion JPEG format. The J100 and J110W have a 2.7” LCD screen and the FinePix J150W and J120 offer the bigger 3” LCD screen. The J-Series will be available with price range from $199.95 to $299.95, all of which are scheduled to ship in September. [DPreview]

Fujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix J100, J110W, J120, J150W - all cameras feature a 10 megapixel sensor, ISO upto 3200 (at 3mp), the FinePix J110W and J150W offer a wide angle range of 28mm-140mm, while the FinePix J100 and J120 range is 35mm to 175mm. The FinePix J100 and J110W have a 2.7″ LCD screen and the FinePix J150W and J120 offer the more massive 3″ LCD screen. The FinePix J100, J110W, J120, J150W will be available from September.

Fujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix J15 - a compact, budget 8 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens, 2.5″ screen, face detection, ISO upto 1600, on screen help, and XD/SD card support, it will be available in silver or black.
