The details of Canon EOS 50D specs are still catchy, although we know it’s a 15.1-megapixel camera (with standard 1.6x CMOS sensor factor) with a 9-segment AF/AE sensor array, 95% view viewfinder and shoots at ISO 100 to 3200. Panasonic Korea launched has launched DMC-FX180 to its LUMIX lineup. FX180 features a 1/1.72-inch CCD with ultra-high, 14.7-megapixel resolution 3.6x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens making it one of the highest resolution point-and-shoots in the market. Advance users also get to manually set aperture and shutter-speed for particular shots. The shooter has 50MB of internal memory, and ofcourse, is extensible with an SD or SDHC card. As for the exterior look, FX180 share similar design with the rest of FX models. Its subtle design clearly hides the functions underneath. The Olympus mju 1050 SW is a new rugged digital camera, able to withstand drop-impact from 5-feet (1.5-meters). water resistant down to 10-feet (3-meters) below, and temps as low as -10 C, which is probably as cold as your freezer. A newly-developed TAP control interface lets users trade the press of a button for the tap of a finger to adjust settings and review images. 1050 SW features 10.1-megapixel shooter with 3x zoom and 2.7-inch display. Olympus has recently come up with an update to their SP-560 UZ by introducing the SP-565 UZ. The 10MP SP-565 has a reduced movie frame rate and ships with a MicroSD adaptor, and 2.5″ LCD, but otherwise looks very similar. The affordable Olympus SP-565 UZ features a 20x wide zoom lens that allows you to zoom in ultra-close to any subject, or back out for an ultra-wide shot – all with a single lens. It also comes with Dual Image Stabilisation to avoid blurs, high-speed 13.5fps sequence shooting, and Advanced Face Detection of up to 16 persons.
