Samsung has recently unveiled a powerful compact digital camcorder, the MX20. The new MX20 is the first to apply H.264 CODEC to SD camcorders. Compared to SD camcorders using MPEG-2, the MX20’s H.264 enhances video quality and recording times significantly. With the codec’s double compression rate, you get to email or share video files on the internet faster due to smaller size, without sacrificing video quality. Hitachi Home Electronics has introduced its next-generation Blu-ray Disc Hybrid Camcorder with the capability to record onto the next generation HD format, Blu-ray. The new DZ-BD10HA will offer several new features and improvements, notably a newly developed 7 mega pixel CMOS image sensor, which captures rich and vibrant videos and stills in FullHD (1920 x 1080) High Definition. It also comes with built in 30 GB HDD that’s able to record up to 4 hours 20 minutes (1920×1080) or 8 hours 40 minutes (1440×1080) videos.
